RFiD THREADS® Worlds 1st smart thread. Link fashion + textiles from fibre to a local interconnected CIRCULAR TEXTILES NETWORK
PICTURE THIS every product made with textiles; from fashion to uniforms and workwear, cushions to couches and linen to mattresses; all housing a digital Circular Textiles Passport that acts like a smart swing tag. It proves authenticity, transparency and connects to circular economy solutions to keep it re-circulating and out of landfill.
The RFiD THREADS® radio frequency tag is so small it fits inside a single pliable metal thread that connects to the IoT. And when deemed unwanted, unwearable or unusable we can calculate and report it's fibre and chemical composition plus environmental impact.
In Stage 1. the RFiD THREADS® connects to a brands supply chain management system using Circlolink Software. Scanning in the hundreds simultaneously, it captures and adds data in-real-time for Stage 2 retail and distribution plus authenticity, efficient returns, resell and rental.
The THREADS® connectivity is switched off at point-of-sale or by request to support efficient next-life networks. In Stage 3; an interconnected circular network of resource recovery providers can scan the RFiD THREADS® to access our open source software and blockchain. Bulk scanning supports semi and full automated sorting to valorise and determine its next lifecycle and collect longevity data.
Brands transitioning to circular economy Product Stewardship Schemes can support their customers to divert from landfill and engage with a local Network of resource recovery champions who repair, reuse, resell, re-love, rent, redesign, recycle, remanufacture or regenerate to repurpose.
It supports brands to participate in a shared, equitable, circular system for their products.
NOW PICTURE THIS, United States of America is the highest consumer of textiles per person in the world. Australia is the second, importing or making 1.458 billion new apparel items each year and currently two thirds will end up in landfill.
This totals some 1,600,0001 tonnes of CO2 emissions; which is more than 69 million garbage bags of waste, that can be recycled instead of landfilled. CIRCLOLINK's goal is to help redirect it to a circular economy and mitigate both pollution and emissions.
CIRCLOLINK. A digital platform enabling economic, environmental and social benefits for the garment and textiles industry to create an interlinked & circular value chain. A shared, equitable solution through Product Stewardship, collect real-time data, metrics for change & connect to customer communication tools.
Each unique digital thread connects to the cloud via CIRCLOLINK software and creates a Circular Textiles Passport for products. It captures key data to share evidence based metrics to measure impacts and link to an interconnected, collaborative Resource Recovery Network.

SMART BRAND CONNECTIVITY
Linked to the Internet of Things (IoT) the smart thread and CIRCLOLINK software first connects to a brand's omni-channel systems to digitally identify assets and capture inventory and logistics. It enables products to link to a brands supply chain management systems plus share its provenance data, Standards, Certification and authenticity. Offers real-time data.
CONNECTING TO A CIRCULAR NETWORK
At point-of-sale the RFiD THREADS® is switched to open source and redirected to a Resource Recovery Network. This multi-industry circular network uses UHF RFID scanners to read plus capture the product's details and assist in its next-life stage. Customers drop off their it is unwanted, unwearable and unusable.
This 10 cm metal thread can be sewn or slipped in easily at any time - when the garment is new or quality recovered garments and products. It will extend the products lifespan, add value, add new data plus capture mitigation metrics and generate untapped circular business models.
FAST TRACK AUTOMATED SORTING
RFiD THREADS® pioneering technology allows a network of resource recovery providers to automatically valorize each product both individually and in bulk quantities and quickly unlock the key information to help determine where it goes next on its circular economy pathway and continuously avoid landfill.
RFiD THREADS® allows retailers, manufacturers, infrastructure, machinery and the resource recovery industry to collectively transition to a holistic aggregation system.
It captures data at every step, enriching information systems and unlocking the key for predictive marketing, automated resource recovery sorting, collaborative responsibility, impact measurement including climate emissions reduction plus connects SDGs and an Extended Producer Responsibility scheme (EPR).
RFiD THREADS® disruptive technology opens a new era of possibility for digitally connected products, digital wardrobes, adaptive circular business opportunities, ai and robotics.
We offer free access to a CIRCULAR TEXTILES NETWORK.
The Circlolink system can be accessed byand connected to local and international networks of resource recovery providers who take "good" and/or "unwearable and unusable" garments and products to support an open, equitable and interlinked circular economy.
